In a nutshell, I am a scientist interested in solving the mysteries surrounding illnesses through data analysis, or in general, improving public health with the help of technology.

My educational credentials include an M.Sc. in Computer Science and an MSPH in Epidemiology. I am detail-oriented and skilled in several programming languages, machine learning, statistics, and epidemiology. Previously I have volunteered with the United Nations Online Volunteering doing data analysis. Professionally, I have worked as a Software Developer, a Computational Linguist, and a Teaching Assistant.

Working at the intersection of computer science and public health is a very big interest of mine, so any projects that fall into this definition will definitely interest me. One of my favorite tasks as a software developer was hunting down bugs that made a program behave abnormally, or put another way, appear to be sick. Now, I would like to help do this with communities.
