I am a second year undergraduate student at IIT Mandi.I have experience collecting, cleaning, visualizing,modeling and interpreting data.I have significant experience in programming in python.I have strong communication skills .I am dedicated to continuously learning and enhancing my skills.I am currently volunteering for Omdena Sri Lanka Local Chapter Project on "Predicting Autism in toddlers through machine learning". I am thrilled to volunteer at DSSG because I admire your vision of harnessing the power of data to solve social problems.By volunteering I can give back to the society as well as hone my data science skills.I do not get much opportunities in data science as I belong to an underrepresented community and my economic condition is not good to afford expensive training.I am looking for opportunities that may help me to build a career in data science so that I can improve my economic condition and at the same time pursue what I like. Moreover it's both fun and challenging to work on projects that can create a social impact.
