I have worked with data my entire professional career, analyzing financial and pricing data as well as capacity consumption and forecasts. I have worked on many IT projects related to Operations and Infrastructure. I have done some projects in AI and ML, but that was before new tools and applications were available. I am new to R and Python and am interested in learning how these tools can be applied for social projects. I would also like to better understand the process of scoping a project and developing a model that will run ongoing (or what the lifetime of a model is). I have excellent analytical skills and business acumen and hope to contribute with those as I learn about current data science.
