Hello! I go by Hana Gabrielle, as this is my preferred first name.

I am an incoming senior at Cornell University majoring in Information Science, Systems, and Technology with concentrations in Data Science and Behavioral Science and minoring in Science and Technology Studies and Science Communication and Public Engagement. At Cornell, I focused my academic coursework on data science, machine learning, and the social impact of technology on society. I am particularly interested in using data science for social good, especially in mental health. Upon graduating in May 2021, I see myself working in a think tank as a data scientist focused on mental health research.

In my free time, I love advocating for mental health and disability rights. Cornell Minds Matter (CMM) is a mental health advocacy organization that I am devoted to at Cornell University. It is truly one of my favorite things about Cornell and has positively added to my college experience so far; being the neurodiversity chair for a growing organization that raises awareness about neurodiversity and empowers neurodiverse students has been a life-changing experience.
