My name is Jefferson Rodriguez, I am a computer engineer with a master's degree in computer science. I have worked on many data-driven projects applying machine learning and deep learning techniques and algorithms. My main experience is in computer vision, analyzing images and videos in several domains. Specifically, images in biomedical projects such as disease detection in x-ray images and CT scans. Another line where I have a lot of experience is in modeling and data acquisition for sign language translation in video (one of my dreams is to see these systems in the real world helping the inclusion of these people ). Recently, I have worked on cybersecurity issues such as phishing detection and visualization of geospatial maps for decision making in government institutions. Currently I want to apply all my knowledge in projects to directly benefit communities (AI for good) or contribute to environmental projects. Since I was very young I have wanted to volunteer and I think I am at a good time to start this part of my life. I hope to have the opportunity to participate in these spaces and contribute a lot to the projects.
