Dear Hiring Manager,

I am an individual with professional backgrounds in Engineering and Supply chain as well as educational backgrounds in Data analytics and Computer programming. I am analytically strong and detail oriented hard-working individual. I found “Solve for Good” website in the google search results when I was searching for entry level volunteer opportunities in the Data analytics field.

I spent my last 20 years in the engineering domain working in Quality engineering, Project management, Planning, Purchasing and finally in the Supply chain operations. Simple analysis of business data using Excel was a part of my job and I enjoyed it, so I decided to change my career to Data analytics. I took online courses on MOOC platforms to learn the key skills needed for the data analytics field. During this time, I earned my “Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate” as well as gained skills in Python, Pandas, SQL and Tableau.

I believe in giving back to the society, environment, nature, and those in need but my contribution was limited to monetary support only to national and international charitable organizations. With the volunteer work, I want to contribute to them. That said, I am looking for an entry level position and willing to work for at least 10 hours per week on any project that involves data analytics. That way, I can start my new career while giving back at the same time; what a wonderful start of a new career!
