I have a passion for using AI to solve real world problems with diverse, multi-cultural teams. At my work, I focus on leading the data science delivery of different analytics projects across retail, consulting and healthcare. Some of my main skills are in team work, communication, project management, problem solving and machine learning (both supervised and unsupervised) using tools like Python, PySpark, Azure, Data bricks and so on.

I have participated in a few non-data science volunteer projects in different parts of the world, Sri Lanka (my home country), Qatar (where I lived for over 8 years), China and South Africa. They have been deeply impactful to me.

Currently, I am looking for opportunities where I can provide a more differentiated contribution - applying my data science for solving problems skills for projects that have a deeper social impact. I would like to get to know more people working in this space and collaborate on solving problems for social good this way.
