I am writing to offer my volunteer support as a data and operations specialist to advance an organization’s mission. As a PMP-certified professional with eight years of experience working directly and indirectly inside the NGO sector across East Africa, I understand how data, funding cycles, and field operations intersect to drive or stall community impact. I want to contribute my technical knowledge to your team.

My background is rooted in the realities of nonprofit work. At the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), I supported monitoring and evaluation across 300+ health facilities, navigating donor reporting requirements, training field staff, and ensuring data actually informed program adjustments. At the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA), I managed data operations for 750,000+ citizens, coordinating across ministries, community leaders, and technical teams to deliver legal identity at scale. I have also co-founded a World Bank-funded community savings society, designed adult learner manuals for the Uganda Red Cross, and mobilized grassroots efforts to build classroom blocks. I know how grant deadlines shape workflows, how field constraints affect data quality, and how to build systems that program staff can actually use.

I am knowledgeable in SQL, Python, and Power BI and good at cleaning messy datasets, building executive dashboards, and translating program metrics into clear reports. More importantly, I approach every project through a nonprofit lens: I start by asking what decision the data needs to support, who will use it, and how it fits into your existing reporting and funding requirements. I am also good at workflow optimization, stakeholder alignment, and documenting processes so teams can sustain improvements after a project ends.
