Hello,
My name is Cristiane de Souza da Silva, and I recently completed a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I have a background in Engineering, Project Management, and Data Analytics, with experience delivering data-driven solutions for offshore energy, renewable energy, and urban infrastructure projects.
Throughout my career, I have worked with data analysis, predictive modeling, business intelligence, ETL processes, and machine learning. My recent Master’s thesis focused on using machine learning and explainable AI (XGBoost and SHAP) to analyze territorial inequalities in access to cultural resources in Barcelona, transforming public data into actionable insights for urban planning and decision-making.
I am interested in volunteering with Solve for Good because I believe data can be a powerful tool for social impact. I would like to contribute my technical skills to projects that help nonprofits, communities, and social initiatives make better decisions through evidence-based analysis. At the same time, I am excited to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, learn from real-world challenges, and continue growing as a data professional.
My areas of interest include:
I am reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work. I can dedicate several hours per week to volunteer projects and would be happy to support organizations that seek to create positive and measurable social impact through data.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to contributing to meaningful projects and making a difference through data.
Best regards,
Cristiane de Souza da Silva
