My name is Adewumi Sunkanmi, A Software Engineering Student from Nigeria, I must say that I am happy to be a part of this ever growing world of technology and mostly seeing my solutions provide value to people. How did it start? In 2018, I discovered most student have a phobia for writing Computer Based Tests and Examinations leading to failures. How will lecturers know since Computer marks?. I experienced this in my mathematics examination leading to me not performing up to expectation. So what can I do to solve this :) ? At this point I was already proficient in writing web apps with Nodejs, MongoDB, HTML and CSS, so I built a Computer Base Test Web Application with this technologies and to make this look more real to student, I studied the user interface of the University CBT platform and made mine just like that. After introduction to the Academic Unit of my Fellowship, this software was adopted for writing mock test and examination and to my surprise students loved it. Offcourse some other features were added later to provide more value.This was my first solution and it built my self confidence. Along the way, I joined the developer student club were I attended a lot of tech talks and also taught people who wanted to learn software development. I must say that up till this point I have been able to accumulate a CGPA of 4.66 of 5.00 to show that I was able to strike a balance between my academics and extracurricular activities.

In 2020 I enrolled for an internship in a company (REACHZONE) where I learned how to work in a professional setting and get paid. I also got to mentor other interns. here are some of my accomplishments at ReachZone

• Optimized queries by ensuring best modeling practices and schema design patterns were adopted while designing schemas. Some of these patterns include(Computed pattern, Subset pattern, and Extended Reference ).
• Reduced the CI-CD workflow runtime by caching reusable packages ( from 2min:40sec to 2min:11sec )
