I am a 27-year-old Ukrainian currently working full-time as a Junior Data Scientist in Munich, Germany. During my studying and working career, I worked on several Computer Vision Projects with varying data domains, in particular with ariel images and medical images. I also have experience with working on Tabular Datasets.
In my Master Thesis, we came up with a new weakly supervised technique to segment objects on satellite images. Segmenting objects like trees, buildings, roads can be further used in evaluating the speed of the city development, agriculture optimization, disaster monitoring. More details: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/335993540_ClusterNet_Unsupervised_Generic_Feature_Learning_for_Fast_Interactive_Satellite_Image_Segmentation
I am the most experienced in working with imagery data, but I do have a relatively good understanding of other domains (like NLP) and always keen to learn something new.
I would like to participate in volunteering because I find it more fulfilling to work on non-commercial projects. I am partially inspired by the works of David Graber (an American anthropologist and anarchist activist) and his views on the development of our modern societies.
I sincerely want to apply my skills where they are needed the most.
No volunteer work yet.
