As a Biological Science Technician with the USDA, I have worked on projects involving image analysis using ImageJ, data wrangling, visualization, and basic linear regression using R. I am currently auditing a handful of classes to build my data science toolbox as I transition from lab tech to data scientist. As part of the re-education process, I am looking for opportunities to improve my skills while tackling meaningful problems. The tagline I chose for my in-progress-website is 'Data for good.', so, DSSG seems like a perfect fit, although, I may need to come up with another tagline.
