Hi! My name is Elizabeth. I am a mechanical engineer who loved mathematics as an undergrad and was introduced to statistics and algorithms as a PhD student studying acoustic signal processing. I am a data nerd and always enjoy poking around with any data I can get my hands on -- including driving my family nuts by collecting and analyzing data on our lives. I am super curious and adore researching topics to find answers to questions. As a grad student, I worked primarily with MATLAB, but since then have branched out to learn new languages, including Python, SQL, and a little bit of R. I have excellent Excel skills and have dabbled in using Tableau and Power BI to create visualizations. I'd like to be able to use my data analysis skills to help people and influence positive change in the world!
