Some relevant information about me:
Hello! My name is Nathan Formentin, I'm a 24 years old Brazilian Computer Engineering student, currently in my fourth year (graduating next year :) ). I have two published papers in the machine learning area:
Death Registry Prediction in Brazilian Male Prisons with a Random Forest Ensemble (ENIAC, 2020) - https://sol.sbc.org.br/index.php/eniac/article/view/12140
Exploring the relationships between data complexity and classificationdiversity in ensembles (ICEIS, 2021) - Which I did not present yet :)
I'm a Data Analyst at @Anota AI, a brazilian startup that sell a chatbot specialized in restaurants. We help small businesses better their customer service with our chatbot and analytics.
I translated the book 'RISC-V: An Open Architecture Atlas' to Portuguese in an open source project (see more in: http://riscvbook.com/portuguese/).
Things I know a little: Natural Language Processing, Classifiers, Ensemble Methods, Data Analysis, Deep Learning, Data Engineering, Statistics, NoSQL, Topic Modelling;
I'm willing to learn to help people as well (And that would be awesome, actually).
My motivations:
• Basically help people and give back to society what I received over the years. I've been a public school student since forever, so It's a honor to give back;
• It's good to have a meaningful project to sharp my skills;
• I don't have many friends that work with data. I think it's an opportunity to learn with other people and make new friends.
Well, that's all I thought at the moment. Feel free to contact me through GitHub or LinkedIn!
