I am an experienced researcher and currently work at the University of Zurich as a postdoctoral researcher. I regularly use statistics and data science tools in my research. Recently, I decided to use my skills to help NGOs visualize their data to make their outreach more visible. I helped the "Stop Femicide" platform in Turkey with their data and showed that femicide is widespread in Turkey, happening in every city, plotting Femicide data from each city on the map of Turkey. This visual was shared in many newspapers and TV channels providing a summary of the problem to the public. I would like to help other NGOs and platforms to make their cause more accessible by visualizing data and making their data understandable by public.
