Hello everyone,

My name is Winnie Jeruto, and I am thrilled to join this community. As a student in the Women Techsters Fellowship, where I received free training in data science and machine learning, the goal is to give back to the community by applying learned skills, sharpening them further, and learning from mentors.

Key Projects and Skills

Customer Churn Prediction: Achieved 95% accuracy using a Gradient Boosting model for a telecommunications company.

Crop Recommendation System: Built a Random Forest model and web app to help farmers choose crops based on soil data.

Heart Disease Data Analysis: Performed exploratory data analysis on 2020 heart disease data to uncover health insights.

Census Population Analysis: Used Benford's Law to detect anomalies and understand population dynamics.

Motivation and Preferences

The opportunity to work on meaningful projects and learn from others is highly motivating. Projects involving analysis or data science, especially those with a social impact in areas like healthcare, agriculture, or public policy, are of particular interest.

Goals My aim is to:

Contribute to significant, impactful projects. Expand knowledge and skills in data science. Build connections with fellow professionals and volunteers. Thank you for the opportunity, and looking forward to collaborating with everyone.
