I'm a highly motivated individual looking to contribute my knowledge and expertise to social impact projects applying data science. For the past 4 years, I've been studying and working in this field, focusing on data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization (Experienced in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau). I volunteered a time ago and those experiences profoundly impacted my life and gave me the best memories. Today, I feel a strong impulse to take this path and collaborate with organizations that share my vision of a better world, and the possibility of surrounding myself with diverse and experienced professionals to learn from them and grow both personally and professionally.
Some of my previous projects include: a) Building a predictive model to identify high-risk employee churn for a staff augmentation company that led to an increase in the tenure of high-valued employees by 11 months; b) I was able to analyze buyer trends for a healthcare company and create an RFM model that optimized marketing campaigns and increased customer loyalty by 15%.
I believe data science is a powerful tool to create a positive impact on the world. Nevertheless, it is a tool that is difficult to access for many organizations working for social or environmental causes. That is why I want to put my skills and knowledge at the service of these organizations, to help them harness the power of data and generate a real impact on the communities they serve. To me, volunteering allows me to give back to the community while continuing to develop my expertise in a real-world setting.
I consider myself a flexible and analytical person with good communication and problem-solving skills. I’m eager to contribute in any way I can, so I will put a lot of effort into being a quick learner and contribute. Furthermore, I am confident that my skills and my commitment make me a good candidate to collaborate with your projects.
