Hello!

By ways of introduction, my name is Emily Dothe and I recently completed a MSc in Business Analytics at Imperial College London, building an expertise in data science principles and applying them to business objectives. Previously, I studied for a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, after which I spent the 2.5 years working as a full-stack application developer at Goldman Sachs.

I am very passionate about applying my technical background to the Social Impact space. My past experiences as a software developer have shown me the powerful impact technology can have on a business, and specifically, that the strategic use of data can lead to valuable insights and better decision-making. I'm very eager to get involved and help realize a data-driven approach to social impact work, as it is an area that I believe offers complex human problems where the application of cutting-edge technology can truly make a difference.
