I am a Lisbon-based service designer and user researcher. In previous projects, I have worked as a designer and researched in a range of environments for projects with different goals, amongst communities like people with limited mobility in London, people who cycle to work, and people who live in areas that are suffering from rapid environmental changes in the US and UK. I hope to volunteer with DSSG because I would like to dedicate my time to the projects that can have real impact while working with people from different fields with different perspectives. Specifically, I’m currently interested in projects that involve new technologies, healthcare, and environmental issues, though I am really open to working on any DSSG project. I hope to contribute to helping data scientists design their projects in a way that considers the end users of their work to ultimately create the most “socially good” projects possible.
