Dear Hiring Managers, A team can be as strong as its diversified strengths. As a former science teacher, I would often give my students group projects with team-determined roles in order to achieve a final presentable product. Some of my students were great at the art of presentation while others were wonderful technicians. I wanted those students to play to their strengths and support each other as a team regardless of their science skills. This gave value and motivation to each part of their curated machine. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a Geek Squad Agent and was involved in the Geek Squad Summer Academy. The GSSA offered local students the opportunity to learn about computer hardware, software, media, and content creation. In alignment with my personal values, I always encouraged teamwork and played up the diversity of backgrounds of the students in order to maximize both the results of their projects and the roles each and every team member played. As a Data Scientist, my latest project is creating a predictive CV model using Deep Learning (Tensorflow) to predict and locate breast cancer using a dataset of medical scans. As a Data Scientist for your company, I feel I would have much to contribute to drive success through teamwork and I feel like your company would facilitate the acquisition of additional skills and experience in a symbiosis of shared goals and values. Thank you, Marc Kolb
