motivated me to take up several challenging and fun to do projects. I have likewise been exposed to several core courses in machine learning and embedded systems during my coursework and I am very passionate and willing to contribute to the society at the same time build my knowledge. I got hands-on experience with hardware designs and simulations and some of the notable projects include gesture vocalizer for the disabled, smart automated Hydroponics, generative models for image super resolution and activity recognition using gyroscope and accelerometer.
I interned at ETHNA ATTRIBUTES SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES during vacations which turned out to be one of the most enriching experience.
I was instrumental in designing and building the following project as part of my internship:
A WRIST WEARABLE TO DIAGNOSE TACHYCARDIA AND BRADYCARDIA (patent)
My role in the project was to own responsibility for the hardware section in designing the PCB for the wearable integration of sensors and on building a machine learning model to predict the activity intensity and if the person is having bradycardia or tachycardia condition. A mobile app integrated wrist wearable was developed for continuous monitoring of heart rate to detect bradycardia and tachycardia .From the raw data collected the activity intensity and core body temperature was computed. The app was built with a machine learning algorithm that takes in the patients data to detect tachycardia and bradycardia by monitoring the heart rate. The detection was done in real time and the app notifies the user and hospital in case of prolonged tachycardia and bradycardia.
Harnessing my knowledge to solve real world problems has always fascinated me to do more and I will continue to learn throughout the journey.
